Proceeds from this fundraiser go towards sending girls to camp. |
|
T.T.T. is a national organization of women who donate their time, talent and
treasures to send hundreds of girls who have finished the fourth
grade to summer camp
– and more - each year.
Each year, T.T.T. sends hundreds of girls who have finished the
fourth grade to summer camp. The girls attend accredited, T.T.T.-approved camps
that are owned and operated by qualified organizations, such as the YMCA, Girl
Scouts, 4-H and church groups. Every camp must meet the standards set by the
American Camping Association for quality in leadership, programming, health and
safety.
T.T.T. members have found that a week at summer camp can have a
most profound impact on a growing child. Camp programs intensify interpersonal
relationships and the camp atmosphere fosters love, concern and respect for one
another. This environment gives each girl an opportunity to learn of her own
worth, develop initiative, learn self-expression and live in harmony with
others.
The T.T.T. experience involves more than a week at camp. Members
take the girls shopping for the clothes they’ll need at camp, packing the
supplies and equipment they might use, in addition to paying all fees. The girls
and women interact on other occasions too. Chapters try to stay in touch with
the campers, remembering them on their birthdays and at holidays. Sometimes
campers receive scholarships to help with higher education. And, happily, some
campers grow up to be T.T.T. members. |

itself is all clay which makes it an extremely fast track for its 1/8
mile size. Several races will be held throughout the summer with
several different class divisions for both children and adults!
This year’s fair race will be one of the top paying Kart events in the
upper Midwest paying $400 to the winner of the adult classes.
Races are conducted under the
